The Opportunity:

Whittier Street Health Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at our satellite clinic on Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury. In this role, you’ll provide high-quality nursing care in a community health setting while supporting access to primary and walk-in services. Because we serve a diverse patient population, we strongly prefer candidates who are bilingual in Spanish and English. This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise and language skills to make a meaningful impact on health equity in Boston.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in an ambulatory setting
• Supervise medical assistants and support staff
• Conduct assessments, administer medications, and provide patient education
• Manage prescription refills, prior authorizations, and care coordination
• Triage patient calls and walk-ins for urgent needs
• Document care accurately in the EMR (Epic strongly preferred)
• Collaborate with providers, behavioral health, pharmacists, and community resources

Requirements:

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• Associate’s degree in Nursing or higher
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• 1+ year of nursing experience in ambulatory care
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred
• Proficiency in EMR (Epic preferred) and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
