We offer a broad range of hospital and clinic services at six locations in the Omaha area and satellite clinics throughout the Midwest. From pediatric inpatient hospitalization and surgical services to outpatient visits, to residential care for children and adolescents with severe behavioral disorders, our nurses focus on caring for the unique needs of children and their families. Additional services include Pediatrics, GI, Rheumatology, Neurology, Internal Medicine. Major responsibilities include completing accurate assessments of physical, mental, emotional development and social conditions when interviewing patients and families in the clinic and on the telephone; demonstrating age-specific competency in assessments; providing patient/family teaching specific to health issues; implementing nursing care activities as directed; completing patient care documentation; collecting specimens and performing select lab tests; performing and documenting telephone triage; responding appropriately in emergencies; performing treatments, procedures, and medication/immunization administration; assuring quality of care by participating in Quality Improvement strategies; promoting a positive team environment and willingness to float to satellite clinics; collaborating with treatment team members; attending required meetings and educational sessions; maintaining professional behavior in accordance with the mission. Required qualifications include being a registered nurse graduate of an accredited school with a current state license and BLS certification.
