Clinical Research Assistant
Location: Freehold, NJ or Somers Point, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours/week
Compensation: $21.00/hr – $26.00/hr (Based on experience)

What You’ll Do
As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will:
- Support the execution of clinical research protocols alongside a dedicated study team.
- Work directly with patients to collect data, vital signs, lab samples, and other key health information.
- Coordinate trial logistics and documentation to ensure compliance with protocols and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families about ongoing clinical studies.
- Support recruitment efforts and community outreach events.
Your Responsibilities
- Understand assigned study protocols and collaborate with Principal Investigators.
- Adhere to protocol guidelines; obtain approvals for any deviations.
- Collect and process lab specimens; perform ECGs, phlebotomy, vital signs.
- Interview patients and gather medical/psychiatric information.
- Maintain accurate, timely source documentation.
- Assist coordinators with regulatory paperwork, filing, and patient tracking.
- Communicate protocol or patient issues to the study team as needed.
- Provide patients and families with resources and support.
- Participate in community engagement and outreach events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
- Experience in healthcare or clinical research settings (a plus)
- Knowledge of EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Phlebotomy Certification
