Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will develop an operational workflow, processes and procedures to prepare human tissue for a spatial biology and AI investigation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in working with state of the art new technologies and contributing to impactful research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct literature reviews and summarize findings.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data using various research methods.
- Assist in the design and implementation of research studies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of research activities.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and publications.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to project meetings.
- Ensure compliance with research protocols and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, biology, analytical chemistry or related discipline. Experience in histology and working with human tissue a plus.
- Previous research experience is preferred.
- Basic understanding of GLPs and the applicable sections of the CFR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Experience working with histological methods, fresh, frozen and FFPE tissues.
- Familiarity with laboratory automation and digital scanning.
