Job Description

We are hiring a Safety Consultant - Construction - for a top entertainment client in Orlando, FL!

Responsibilities:

• The Construction Safety positions serve as the key technical resource and are responsible for the implementation and sustainment of key safety programs for their designated businesses.
• This role will be required to partner with Safety Services Cast Members to effectively communicate safety concerns, issues, and best practices.
• The role requires standing and walking for 8 or more hours; working in inclement weather; wearing appropriate personal protective equipment; lifting/carrying; climbing steps; ladders; and, scaffolds.

Required Qualifications:

• Exceptional candidates will have a proven track record of independently driving above average incident reduction results achieved through the implementation of targeted safety strategies and tactics.
• 4 Yr. Bachelor's Degree is required - no exceptions
• Team have not solidified shifts so ensure candidates are okay with either working 1st or 3rd shift.
• Must have strong OSHA knowledge, site construction safety management experience, experience managing 3rd party vendors/ General Contractors, building and maintaining relationships with internal and external parties.
• Must have experience with risk assessments, safety plans, investigations, technical evaluations and technical reviews.
• Functions independently and therefore must have strong communication skills to keep leadership appraised of activity, issues, and concerns.
• Must have experience with MS Office (Outlook, PPT, Excel)
