Seasonal Seamstress Tailor Sewing Specialist Join us as a Seasonal Seamstress Tailor Sewing Specialist at David's Bridal . This role is ideal for those with sewing experience, responsible for fittings and alterations to meet high standards, and providing excellent customer service. The position reports to the Store Manager and requires a friendly, knowledgeable approach that embodies the David’s Bridal brand. Key Responsibilities Perform fittings and alterations, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction. Assist stylists with gown fittings and customization. Maintain store standards and ensure garments are altered, steamed, pressed, and inspected properly. Provide exceptional service, address customer concerns, and build long-term relationships. Manage inventory, process special orders, and ensure accurate pricing. Support store operations, including maintaining cleanliness and organization of the alterations room. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment. Prior sewing experience, preferably in bridal or special occasion settings. Experience with POS systems is a plus. Physical and Other Requirements Ability to stand, walk, sit, and perform manual tasks including sewing and fittings. Manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 10 pounds, and good visual acuity.
