A boutique, highly respected plaintiffs’ securities litigation firm is seeking a mid-level or senior attorney to join its growing practice in Midtown Manhattan. This is a confidential search conducted on behalf of the firm.

The firm specializes in shareholder derivative litigation and corporate fiduciary matters in both federal and state courts across the country. Known for its entrepreneurial culture and impactful work, this position offers a rare opportunity to build a long-term career at the forefront of securities litigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex litigation matters from investigation through resolution.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and draft high-quality memoranda, pleadings, and motions.
• Participate in strategic case planning, discovery, and client interaction.
• Operate independently on assigned matters while collaborating closely with a small, experienced team.

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
• Litigation experience with a preference for those focused on commercial or securities litigation.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collegial, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated interest or experience in securities law and corporate fiduciary duties.
• Familiarity with financial markets , accounting standards , and finance theory.
• Prior experience at a plaintiffs’ securities firm , Big Law , or in complex litigation is highly desirable.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $180,000 – $300,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Comprehensive benefits package
• No relocation or visa sponsorship available
