Job Details

~ A DAY IN YOUR LIFE ~

  • Interact closely with clients to provide innovative business tax planning, consulting and compliance services in a timely and effective manner
  • Tax preparation services to include partnerships, S-Corps, C-Corps and trusts in addition to 2nd level reviews of junior staff
  • Supervise and help drive the success of multiple engagements in corporate, partnership and individual taxation
  • Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing and meeting deadlines and proactively sharing tax saving strategies
  • Work closely with Partners, Senior Managers, Managers and staff on client management, professional development and business development activities.
~ THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING ~

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred
  • CPA or Enrolled agent preferred but not required
  • Proven track record for business development a this would consist of a minimum of 25% of your job duties and will be an additional income outside of your base salary
  • Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research
  • Must have a strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices as you will be reviewing work performed by accounting and bookkeeping
  • A demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements under tight deadlines
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring and interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships (managing a team of about 10 direct reports)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Supervise, develop, train and mentor staff including performance and engagement reviews
  • Attend professional development and continuing educations sessions on a regular basis
  • Experience in income tax provision a plus.
  • Other related duties as assigned
