About the role As a Settlements Consultant, you will play a key role in managing the claims process with accuracy, professionalism, and care. You’ll oversee open claim files, maintaining precise claim reserves, and ensuring all activities are completed efficiently and within service standards. This role is integral to the success of our claims team, contributing to operational targets and outcomes while consistently demonstrating behaviours that reflect our values and support our organisational goals. As the Settlements Consultant, you will: Manage open claim files, ensuring all task level activities are completed efficiently, within agreed service levels and quality standards Proactively manage and maintain outstanding claim reserves at each stage of the process to ensure accuracy across the entire claims portfolio Liaise with suppliers and service providers to ensure clients consistently receive a high standard of service Respond to clients and service providers promptly, courteously, and with strong technical knowledge Maintain strong and professional working relationships with all service providers to support effective claims outcomes About you Sound knowledge of motor insurance claims processes, products, and industry practices (settlements experience highly desirable) Strong technical expertise in interpreting and applying insurance policy wording Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in every aspect of the settlement process Ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders, delivering a professional and supportive experience Working at Hollard At Hollard, you’ll discover an environment where you can truly make an impact.
