Solar - Scheduling Coordinator

We are a local, family-owned company that has been servicing the greater Orlando area for over 30 years. We are searching for a talented and motivated individual to bring on as our Scheduling Coordinator. This position requires you to be a self-starter and to be extremely detail oriented. Apply today!

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00/hr. Depending On Experience

Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Position Summary: Maintain the Solar Technicians' daily schedules and dispatch the technicians as service calls are completed. Schedule return trips with customers when parts are in. Maintain the on-call schedule for service technicians. Maintain customer database with current information. Clear and concise communications with department managers, employees, and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times. Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information. Prepare service invoices and timecards for processing.

Job Requirements:

  • Three years related experience in customer service, dispatching, or scheduling
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills
  • Computer skills
  • Basic knowledge of the industry is preferred

Required Qualifications:

  • Pass a drug and background check.
  • Ability to multi-task while meeting various deadlines.
  • Must be able to follow directions from supervisor.
  • Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Basic computer skills (outlook, excel, word).
  • Previous accounting experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
