Specialist, Customer Service
Entegris is looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team in Chaska, MN. You'll work with the Customer Service Supervisor to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers, acting as the primary contact point for external customers.
As a Customer Service Representative, you'll focus on resolving complex customer inquiries and issues, making decisions that impact customer satisfaction. You'll interpret policies and procedures to provide tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Respond to inquiries via phone and email. Provide accurate product and service information. Address customer complaints and provide effective solutions.
- Quotation and Order Processing: Develop and provide quotes, process purchase orders, create sales orders, and provide feedback to customers.
- Relationship Development: Foster and maintain relationships with both internal and external customers. Effectively collaborate with Production, Logistics, Finance, and other cross-functional areas to ensure critical customer needs are met.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex issues. Coordinate with other departments for timely resolution. Follow up to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Interpreting Policies: Understand and adhere to company policies, making informed decisions accordingly. Recommend changes to programs, policies, and procedures to better meet customer requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze issues to identify root causes and enhance business processes, aiming to improve efficiency and reduce transaction times.
Qualifications
- Education: B.S. degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Customer-facing experience is a plus.
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Office; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus. Good communication skills. Exposure to manufacturing and ISO 9000/14000 environments is preferred.
