Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available to support a K-12 caseload on a leave contract in the Portland area. This role is perfect for an experienced or early-career SLP holding a valid Oregon state license and a masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Your expertise will help maintain continuity of care for students during a maternity leave period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication development.
• Maintain documentation and comply with state and school district guidelines.
• Adapt therapy approaches to accommodate diverse learning environments and student abilities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Valid license from the Oregon Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
• Proven ability to work with K-12 students across a spectrum of speech and language disorders.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage students, families, and school staff.
• Experience with part-time, adaptable schedules preferred.

Location:Portland, Oregon area (specific schools to be assigned).

Schedule:Approximately 20 hours per week for a contract period from February 19, 2026, through May 14, 2026.

This is a contract position covering maternity leave, providing meaningful impact while allowing flexibility. Competitive compensation will be based on years of experience.
