Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located in Taylor, MI. This contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with certified speech-language pathologists to assist students in developing their munication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy plans for students
• Support students with speech, language, and munication disorders in individual and group settings
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy activities
• Prepare materials and assist in conducting screenings and evaluations under supervision
• Collaborate with school staff and families to promote effective munication strategies

Qualifications:

• Valid SLPA certification or equivalent credential
• Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a K-12 setting
• Strong munication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt activities to meet student needs
• Knowledge of speech and language development milestones
