Your Role

As a Substance Abuse Counselor , you will play a crucial role in the lives of your patients. You’ll provide individual, group, and family counseling while collaborating with a dedicated treatment team, including our Medical Director, Program Director, and Nurses. Together, you will identify and address the clinical needs of each patient, supporting their journey to recovery.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

Here’s a glimpse of your essential functions:

  • Conduct intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.
  • Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.
  • Create individualized treatment plans within required time frames.
  • Identify and address clinical/case management needs.
  • Provide at least 20 hours of direct patient contact weekly.
  • Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and recovery steps.
  • Obtain Urine Drug Screens and initial patient identification.
  • Act in the best interests of the program and protect company data.

Essential Qualifications
