View all open positions at: The Grace Beginnings Teacher will assist the Director in fostering the faith development of the children who attend Grace Beginnings child care, help children achieve curriculum goals by assisting with appropriate early childhood experiences, and promote healthy emotional, social, cognitive, physical, and spiritual growth of each child involved in the program.

Lead Teacher Requirements: 

• Educational requirements: CDA, Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred, High School Diploma or GED required. 
• Experience required: 24 post-secondary quarter credits in education or a related field plus 4,160 hours as an assistant teacher working in a childcare facility.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for teaching children.

Assistant Teacher Requirement:

• Educational requirements: High School Diploma, Equivalent, or Higher Educational Level, and 8 post-secondary semester credits in Education or a related field.
• Experience required: plus 2,080 hours as an aide working in a childcare facility.

Spiritual Expectations:

• Has a commitment to prayer, as evidenced in both corporate and personal prayer.
• Exhibits a meaningful and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as evidenced by the manifestation of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.
• Exhibits a lifestyle appropriate to a person in public Christian ministry by conducting life with the utmost integrity in all situations.

Infant Assistant Teacher
Part-time: 17.5 hours/week
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50
Hourly - Non-exempt

Toddler Lead Teacher
Full-time: 40 hours/week
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00
Hourly - Non-exempt

Toddler Assistant Teacher
Part-time: 20 hours/week
Pay: $18.50 - $19.50
Hourly - Non-exempt

Preschool Lead Teacher
Part-time: 13.5 hours/week (September - June)
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00
Hourly - Non-exempt

Preschool Junior Lead Teacher
Full-time 35-40 hours/week
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00
Hourly - Non-exempt

Preschool Assistant Teacher:
Part-time: 13.5 hours/week (September - June)

Pay: $18.50 - $19.50/hour

Hourly - Non-exempt

Substitute Teacher:
On an as-needed basis
$18.00/hour
Hourly - Non-Exempt
