We are seeking unarmed event security guards in Grand Rapids, MI— independent contractors (1099)—for a temporary assignment running August 20 through September 20, 2025 . Applicants must have open availability, including weekends and flexible shift hours , and be ready to provide security services at a range of public events.
What You’ll Do
- Monitor event perimeters, crowd flow, and VIP areas
- Control access points and check credentials (no searches)
- Stay vigilant for suspicious behavior and respond appropriately
- Provide friendly, professional customer-facing presence
- Report incidents or safety concerns clearly and promptly

Schedule & Availability
- Must be available any shift , including weekends
- Assignments may fall on day, evening, or overnight hours

- Schedule is set by our team—this is closely managed contract work
Requirements:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Clean background check
- Must be 18years of age or older
- Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts
- Must be available any shift , including weekends
