Location: Littleton, CO (On-Site/Office)
Experience Required:
- 9+ years of aerospace thermal engineering in the design, analysis, testing, and orbit raising of satellites.
- Design experience with passive thermal control features including optical solar reflectors, multilayer insulation, ammonia-filled heat pipes, conduction enhancement and inhibiting materials.
- Experience with design and analysis for active thermal control features including onboard computer controlled and thermostatically controlled regulated heater circuits as well as telemetry event macro activations.
- Thermal software code experience with SINDA, TSS, and thermal desktop.
- Thermal engineer console experience with TVAC test to ensure spacecraft safety.
- Monitoring test telemetry and equipment, adjusting hardware and equipment day to day.
Shift Schedule:
9-12 hr shift schedule up to 4 days a week in shifts of 2-3 weeks straight.
