Job Description
Terry Matlock School of Performing Arts is a Fine Arts and Academic Preschool and Childcare. We have 2 locations in Grand Blanc and take care of children ages 6 weeks thru school age.
I am looking for a loving caring teacher that enjoys the inquisitive toddler, ages 1 year to 2 years, 6 months. The toddler years are a time of great cognitive, emotional and social development. The Toddler Teacher needs to be creative and work well with a team. We offer well rounded programs and have a great support staff to help with schedule and lesson planning. Our toddlers work with sign language, have toddler tumbling and circle dance as well as their art, music and circle time.
I am also looking for a Toddler Teacher Aide This position is to work as a team member in the toddler classroom. To be an assistant to the lead and help implement the program.
Requirements
The Lead Teacher must have a Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood or a CDA. The Lead Teacher must have classroom experience and be available to work full time. Lead Teacher is required to have lesson plans and art preparation ready a week in advance. She must also have leadership qualities and good communication skills for parents and her team.
Toddler Teacher Aide's must having a loving personality and enjoy children. Must be able to work as a team member.
