Tractor/Hayride Driver Job Description

Are you friendly, dependable, and love working outdoors? Join our team as a  Tractor/Hayride Driver at our family-friendly pumpkin patch! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, providing a fun and safe experience, and bringing a little extra magic to the fall season.

Responsibilities:

• Daytime Rides: Safely drive a tractor-pulled wagon to and from the pumpkin patch, ensuring families have a smooth, enjoyable ride while they pick the perfect pumpkin.
• Nighttime Haunted Rides: Navigate a short, guided course while guests experience frights from our actors and animatronics. Maintain a steady, safe pace to enhance the spooky experience.
• Engage with guests in a welcoming and professional manner, answering questions and making their visit memorable.
• Perform basic tractor maintenance checks before and after each shift (fuel levels, tire pressure, lights, etc.).
• Follow all safety protocols and assist guests with loading/unloading as needed.
• Communicate with team members to ensure a seamless operation during both family-friendly and haunted hayride experiences.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old with experience operating tractors or similar equipment.
• Comfortable driving in both daytime and nighttime conditions.
• Friendly, customer-service-oriented attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and focused while driving around guests, actors, and special effects.
• Availability to work weekends and evenings during the fall season.
