Pay rate: 34.13-44.89/hr
Work Location: Newport News, VA / Hampton Roads Metropolitan Area

Training Representative 3 (Human Resources)
Responsibilities
- Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
- Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
- Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
- Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
- May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
- May be responsible for development of e-learning programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field and 6 years; or Master's degree and 4 year of relevant professional experience.
Special Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Associates Degree with experience in drafting and/or ship construction or;
- Master’s Degree with 18 graduate credits in Communications, Engineering, History, Mathematics, Physics, or Psychology
- Experience teaching in both face to face and online environments
- Familiarity with instructional and course management technology as well as course design
