Schedule

Night shifts, specifically 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, every third weekend, and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an Acute Care Rehabilitation unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in inpatient rehabilitation and be comfortable floating between facilities as needed. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex patient needs within a specialized rehabilitation environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patient health status and vital signs


• Perform medication reconciliation and assist with treatment plans


• Conduct dressing changes and setup of sterile procedure trays


• Provide patient education and support for chronic conditions


• Perform phlebotomy and laboratory specimen collection


• Participate in telephone triage and pharmacy communication for patient refills


• Utilize EPIC for charting and documenting patient care

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of acute care rehabilitation experience


• BLS certification required


• Experience with EKG interpretation and a Pass/Fail EKG exam is mandatory


• Must have an active nursing license upon submission
