\n\nJob Details:
\n• Weekend block schedule working Friday/Saturday/Sunday or Saturday/Sunday/Monday
\n• Required to float between Progress West and St. Peters as needed
\n• Patient ratio of 1:4-6 with average daily census of 16
\n• EPIC charting experience required
\n• Required certifications: NIH, ACLS, BCLS
\n• 2 years of nursing experience required
\n• Telemetry experience required
\n• Unit accepts first-time travelers
\n• Scrub color requirement: light gray/silver
\n• 24 hours of orientation required
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patients including total joint replacement, neuro spine, general surgery, wounds, diabetic, medical covid, and oral surgery patients
\n• Skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, and wound care
\n• Must be able to float to MS and ICU units as needed
\n• Every other weekend required per facility policy
\n• 13 weekend shifts required per contract
\n• One pre-approved time off allowed

\nThis short-term acute care hospital features 110 staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical services with specialized units including telemetry, medical-surgical, and ICU departments. The facility utilizes EPIC charting system and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The hospital provides free parking and maintains modern equipment to support patient care across multiple service lines.
