Job Summary (List Format):
- Performs a variety of ultrasound diagnostic procedures using independent judgment and expertise.
- Operates, adjusts, and maintains ultrasound and related medical equipment.
- Follows exam protocols and performs tests as ordered by physicians.
- Practices in accordance with mandatory entity and departmental requirements and guidelines.
- Delivers customer service in all interactions with patients and staff.
- Documents procedures and patient information per department/entity standards.
- Appropriately utilizes internal and external resources.
- Manages time effectively to ensure smooth workflow.
- Addresses and accommodates age-specific needs of patients ranging from infants to older adults.
- Performs administrative and additional tasks as requested by supervisors.
- Works various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Schedule Details
40 hours: days/eves 7-3, 10-6, 11-7, 12-8, 3-11- weekends as well as holidays if needed
Qualifications: - Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or certificate program.
- Registered in Abdominal/OB or Echo RDMS.
- Current BLS certification.
