Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Traveling Concrete Carpenter/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing, forming, and installation. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on various construction projects. The Concrete Finisher will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces while adhering to safety standards and project specifications.

Compensation: $23.00/Hr - $25.00/Hr, $75 per day worked.

Duties:

• Perform concrete finishing tasks including smoothing, leveling, and polishing surfaces.
• Operate concrete mixers and other power tools effectively.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Install rebar and perform concrete forming as needed.
• Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment for various construction tasks.
• Assist in the installation of hardscape elements such as patios and walkways.
• Conduct renovations and restorations involving plastering, stucco, and masonry work.
• Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in concrete finishing, with a strong understanding of construction practices.
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
• Familiarity with construction estimating and project management principles.
• Experience with carpentry, including frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing.
• Knowledge of flooring installation techniques such as tile laying.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by job tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing plans accurately.
• Previous experience on construction sites is preferred, along with the ability to read blueprints effectively.
