Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Rehab for a Travel/Full Time position in Newport, VT . Accepting both local and traveler candidates.
- Salary Range: $39 - $40/hour
- Duration: Permanent
- Shift: 8:00 AM : 4:30 PM
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
(Only for US Citizens)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs for the department.
- Supervise and provide leadership to rehab staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Manage departmental budget, resources, and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
- 2+ years of DOR experience.
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred.
- Open to candidates from any discipline (PT, OT, SLP).
- Leadership experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Valid state therapist license (PT, OT, or SLP) Required.
