About the Role

This role demands a thought leader who can oversee the entire production process, from content capture to delivery, and who is adept at managing large budgets and multiple production teams. The VP will also be a key figure in maintaining relationships with content leaders, broadcast networks, and other stakeholders, and must be able to inspire and unify teams across various business units. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a background in broadcast, production, journalism, management, or communications, and at least 15 years' experience in the sports or media industry. The role requires a decisive leader with excellent project management skills, a diverse understanding of production, and a history of hiring and managing large teams. The VP will work closely with the content and production operations teams, participate in the planning of production needs, and stay current with technical developments in the industry. Availability during competition and production hours, including evenings and weekends, is essential.
