You’ll work alongside outstanding leadership and field teams, playing a crucial role in the success of our company. As a Wind Technician, you will inspect, install, maintain, operate, and repair wind turbines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate daily in morning safety meetings.
- Complete inspections of equipment and tools for safe use.
- Engage in Job Safety Analysis.
- Inspect the exterior and physical integrity of wind turbine towers.
- Climb towers to inspect, troubleshoot, or repair turbine equipment.
- Test electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems and components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical malfunctions.
- Service underground transmission systems, wind field substations, or fiber optic sensing and control systems.
- Replace worn or malfunctioning components.
- Follow maintenance manuals and standard operating procedures for wind turbine parts.
- Complete and validate written and electronic progress reports.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the worksite.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

- Proficient in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, braking, and electrical systems of turbines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-driven attitude with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team.
- Comfortable using technology apps and devices.
- Must possess a valid ID.
- Ability to climb a ladder system with tools and equipment to heights of at least 260 feet.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Capacity to work for prolonged periods in potentially extreme weather conditions.
- Ability to enter and exit confined spaces to access mechanical parts.
- Must wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Willingness to work beyond normal operating hours as business demands require.
